2018 Super Deluxe Edition SIX CD/ ONE Blu-Ray set - Released to celebrate its 50th Anniversary, their classic album has been remixed for the FIRST TIME by Giles Martin with Sam Okell sourced directly from the original four-track & eight-track session tapes, guided by the album's original stereo mix produced by his father, George Martin. This comprehensive, individually numbered 7-disc collection comprises the new 2018 stereo album mix across two discs, with a third disc containing the twenty seven original demos which were recorded during the last week of May 1968 at George’s house in Esher, Surrey. Includes an extra three discs featuring FIFTY additional recordings, most previously unreleased, from 'White Album' studio sessions, all newly mixed from the four-track & eight-track session tapes, sequenced in order of their recording start dates; plus a bonus Blu-Ray disc containing the 2018 album mix in high resolution PCM stereo, DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1, Dolby True HD 5.1 & a direct transfer of the album’s original mono mix. All seven discs sit inside individual mini-LP card wallet sleeves in an extensive individually numbered 164-page hardback book with pull-out reproductions of the original album's four glossy colour portrait photographs of John, Paul, George & Ringo, as well as the album’s large fold-out poster with a photo collage one side & lyrics on the other. The beautiful book is illustrated with rare photographs, reproductions of handwritten & notated lyrics, previously unpublished photos of recording sheets & tape boxes & reproduced original ‘White Album’ print ads.
