Def Leppard’s debut album was released in 1980 and immediately put the rock world on notice that the band were destined for big things, with the album charting at no 15 in the U.K. and 51 in the U.S.. Produced by Tom Allom it featured many of the bands live favourites and some updated versions of early singles. The album achieved platinum status in 1989. The version included here is the rare Australian gatefold sleeve version.
CD2 – High and Dry:
Released in 1981, High and Dry was Def Leppard’s second album and the first produced by Robert ‘Mutt’ Lange. It reached 26 in the U.K. charts and 38 in the U.S.
CD3 – Pyromania:
The album that launched the band into rock legends was released in 1983; it was the first to feature Phil Collen who had replaced Pete Willis. It contains the hits Photograph and Rock! Rock! (Till You Drop), both huge singles all over the world.
CD4 – Hysteria:
The fourth studio album by Def Leppard was released in 1987.
CD5 – Live At The LA Forum 1983.
CD6 – Rarities Volume 1:
This specially compiled album by Joe Elliott contains rare B-sides and recordings from the Def Leppard’s early years all a commissioned sleeve.
